A Site We Put Our Hearts Into

Objective:

To create an award-winning interactive web experience that realized the potential of social networking.

Business Challenge:

To create, produce, design, develop and deliver a web based experience that derived its inspiration from digital assets provided by New Media BC.

Solution: 

“Whispers of Love” is an online Valentine’s Day card like no other. Inspired by the Soviet Montage philosophy of Sergei Eisenstein, the site employs a unique orchestration of interactivity and narrative, which allows the user experience to range from passive enjoyment to active participation. By divining each user’s emotional state, “Whispers of Love” generates an evocative on-the-fly montage which mirrors back their mood and state of mind. Driven by a deep archive of slices-of-life taken from around the world during Valentine’s Day 2004, “Whispers of Love” is a story experience, which captures the endless variety of contemporary urban life.
